Plate Scrapes in Eickhoff to Highlight Food Waste: 11/18 and 11/20

On Tuesday, November 18th, and Thursday, November 20th, Bonner Scholars will be conducting plate scrapes in Eickhoff Dining Hall to highlight the amount of wasted food that gets thrown away each day by students at TCNJ. Bonner Scholars will be collecting and weighing the wasted food. This information will then be used to understand how much waste could be diverted from the general waste stream, reducing landfill use, potentially reducing waste haulage fees, and reducing the overall amount of waste produced by TCNJ.

If you’re eating in Eickhoff, be sure to say hello to the Bonner Scholars at the dish return!
